Ryan Cronin-Prather serves as Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel at Avatar Financial Group LLC (Avatar), where he oversees legal, operational, and loan servicing functions across the firm. He joined Avatar in early 2020 after nearly a decade of private legal practice representing businesses, lenders, and commercial real estate developers throughout California and Washington. His background includes a broad range of litigation and transactional matters, as well as long-term representation of a major California developer, experience that now informs his guidance on loan originations, closings, and dispute resolution. Ryan holds licenses to practice law in both California and Washington. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Westmont College and a J.D. from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. He also serves on the Board of Directors of a Sacramento-based insurance agency.
